Oregon's Most Affordable Private Christian University

About NU Salem Campus

Five great reasons to choose the Northwest University Salem Campus:

  • Earn your degree for considerably less than other private colleges in the area.
  • Regional accreditation – the credits you earn will transfer anywhere.
  • Student/faculty ratio of under 10 to 1.
  • Federal financial aid is available.
  • Our schedule is convenient for working students and commuters.

NU's Salem Campus is a great choice. While our accreditation is the highest awarded to institutions, our costs are reasonable. It's one of the reasons why U.S. News & World Report named us as a Best Value. It also means that any credits you earn here will transfer elsewhere. The same is not true of other unaccredited schools in the area.

You'll also appreciate the flexibility of our class schedules. Many students are able to arrange their classes so they only have to come to campus once a week or—at the most—twice. This is ideal for working students and commuters. And all of our courses are offered in a two-session semester format with each semester comprised of two seven-week sessions. As a result, full-time students take only two or three classes during each session, so they can be very focused in their learning. Interested in learning more? See the contact options below.
