About NU Salem Campus

Four great reasons to choose the Northwest University Salem Campus:

  • Student/faculty ratio of under 10 to 1.
  • Regional accreditation – federal financial aid is available.
  • We are affordable.
  • Our schedule is convenient for working students and commuters.

One of the most appealing factors about the Salem Campus is its unique scheduling of classes. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays with each one being just less than three hours long. Many students are able to arrange their classes so they only have to come to campus once a week or—at the most—twice. This format offers tremendous flexibility, which is ideal for working students and commuters. All of our courses are offered in a two-session semester format with each semester comprised of two seven-week sessions. As a result, full-time students take only two or three classes during each session, so they can be very focused in their learning.
